The role of the Marketing, Communication and Events (MCE) Division is to coordinate and manage the overall marketing and communication activities of Madibeng Local Municipality including its reputation within its surrounding communities and in South Africa. This is done through enhancing the municipalities brand as an investment and tourism destination.
The Marketing Communication and Events Division initiates partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to tell the municipalities success stories and to showcase its services. This is achieved through utilizing effective platforms for communication, marketing, public relations, events, and tourism.
This division is responsible for ensuring that the municipality stakeholders buy into its vision as expressed in all its strategic documents.

Integrated Development Planning Division is responsible to manage the processes of developing the 5 year Integrated Development Plan and annual reviews, aligned with Budget and Performance Management System. The division participate on intergovernmental planning process that informs the compilation of municipal plans. Coordinate the meetings of the IDP Representative Forum, whereby stakeholders get opportunity to participate in the development process of the plan.
